My Chérie is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based on Kaurna Land (Adelaide/Tarntanya). Raised in South Africa, she crafts beautifully left-of-centre alt-pop and indie/folk-rock that is sonically immersive, hypnotic, and emotionally resonant, moving between introspective softness and cinematic, electrifying energy.

Her music is layered with ambient guitars, intimate vocals, and bold production, drawing comparisons to Kate Bush, Florence + The Machine, Wolf Alice, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Known for her captivating live shows, My Chérie’s performances are immersive journeys, blending live improvisation, genre-bending arrangements, and ethereal vocals. Her work has been described as creating “layered sonic landscapes” and a “statement of self-trust, transformation, and creative bravery,” bringing both catharsis and empowerment to audiences.

Originally emerging as a solo live-looping artist, she won Best Live Act in South Australia at the National Live Music Awards and has since evolved into a dynamic full-band project.

As a queer female artist, her songwriting explores identity, neurodiversity, mental health, faith, and the search for grounding, while her cinematic music videos deepen the emotional world of her songs.
